The Bottle Rockets were the first band I ever heard that I wanted to sound like, that were not from the 60′s and 70′s. And then I found out they were from Missouri so for awhile there I was kind of obsessed with their music and their path to being well known by their fans and greatly respected by their peers. And to me it boils down to great songwriting.
So as you might guess I was pretty damn happy when Brian Henneman sent me an e-mail and asked if I could open this show for them in St. Louis, MO. Plus, I get a free ticket to the show….
